President – Allen Smith
My wife, Denise, and I moved to Brookhaven in 1999. What we liked about Brookhaven were the trees, the way the addition was laid out, the park and its location to everything! Though we had always paid our dues, we did not become involved with the HOA until 2008. Like most people we were too busy so we cut out a few other activities to make time for neighbors. We have met a lot of good people. I hope we can contribute to our neighborhood. Send an EMAIL

Treasurer – Denise Dawley
I moved to Oklahoma in 1990 but it was not until December 1999 that I bought my first home with my husband Allen in Brookhaven. We had looked at homes for several months and decided on Brookhaven. What I liked about Brookhaven were the trees, the way the addition was laid out, the park and its location to everything! Though we had always paid our dues, Allen and I did not become involved with the HOA until 2008. We both felt that we needed to connect with the community we live in and the time was right to become involved. Through our involvement with the HOA, we have become friends with great people who care about our neighborhood. We’ve also become aware of the challenges Brookhaven faces as an voluntary association. I current chair the Beautification Committee and serve as Treasurer. My hope it to help people become invested in the future of Brookhaven because it’s a wonderful place to live. As Treasurer, I serve as an officer only, not as Board member, as allowed by the bylaws of the association. Send an EMAIL
Secretary – Michele Hale
My husband and I moved to Brookhaven North in 2004. We were drawn to the neighborhood by the quiet setting, beautiful trees, and the many homeowners that take pride in their homes. Brett and I attended the Brookhaven annual HOA meetings over the years and in 2016 we became more involved by joining the board. As members, we hope to help keep Brookhaven North a great place to live. Send an EMAIL
My wife, Sandy, and I moved to Brookhaven upon retiring in 2008. We had looked at several neighborhoods and were impressed with the trees, manicured lawns, cost, and uniqueness of the homes here in Brookhaven. After about a year and a half of living in the neighborhood we attended the Annual Meeting and I came away as a board member. I have enjoyed working with the Board and meeting so many people through doing canvases in the neighborhood and working on other projects. Our homes are a major investment and we need to be vigilant about trying to improve the area in which we live. I would encourage anyone to become involved.
My name is Scott Erbst, and I have lived in Brookhaven North for 16 years. My wife, Angie and myself, wanted to live on the east side of Edmond in a family friendly neighborhood that fed into excellent schools for our son. Brookhaven North seemed to be just the place, and we have really enjoyed living here. I decided several years ago that the best way for me to be involved with what is going on in the neighborhood was for me to become a part of the Brookhaven North HOA Board. I started out for a few years serving as the Vice President and have since been serving as Board Member in Plat 1. I have enjoyed serving on the board and would encourage others in the neighborhood with any interest to do the same. My wife and I have an 18-year-old son who will be graduating from Edmond North High School this year, and we also have a 10-year-old daughter who is finishing up her elementary school experience at Northern Hills this school year. We feel so fortunate to have found such a great neighborhood, with great neighbors and great schools.
Plat 2: None
My affiliation with Brookhaven began when I married a long time resident, Carolyn Lilly, in 1996. Not long afterward, while attending a home owners gathering I found out just how quickly one can become elected at the neighborhood Treasurer. I serviced in that capacity for five years until it became necessary to “pass the baton” and proceed to embrace a cancer cure. That is behind me and once again I am serving on the board but in a reduced capacity (time wise). Once a person realized that their home is about the most valuable asset they own it becomes necessary to preserve that property. Your Homeowner’s Association is an important partner in that asset protection. That is why I have always had an interest in keeping Brookhaven a desirable place to live. This coming spring I retire for the second time. Firstly, from the USAF and now as a school bus driver for Edmond Public Schools.
In 2004, having lived on the west side of Edmond, my wife and I were drawn to the neighborhoods east of Broadway because of their sense of community and established landscaping. Being close to I-35, Broadway Extension, shopping and restaurants, yet in a quiet suburban setting, we chose Brookhaven North to make our home. We have bonded with our fellow neighbors as well as bringing a few friends into the addition. As residents we felt the need to become active in the HOA & its mission to maintain itself & its surroundings so that Brookhaven North remains a desirable addition for us and our neighbors.
We have lived in Brookhaven for 35 years and we would not want to live anywhere else, but in Brookhaven and Edmond. My wife and I bought our house when it was only 6 months old so we were early settlers on our street. I have become a Board Member to stay involved in Brookhaven activity and to protect our investment, namely our property. While working in the oil and gas industry, I have lived in Pecos, Midland and Houston, TX and Mt. Pleasant, MI. By far, living in Edmond, OK has been the best move we have ever made. Edmond has been great for my children’s education and their growing up experiences. My wife has retired from teaching in Edmond after 23 years employment with Edmond Schools and feels the same about Brookhaven.
